In the exhibition Malign, I portray a changeable time marked by powerlessness and the loss of control, while highlighting the nuances of pain, joy, and hope of everyday life. Malign explores feelings connected to my daughter’s illness and cries for help, as the only thing I can do is let time run its course and trust in other people having the knowledge and will to help her survive. One hour at a time, one day, one life.”
